We had a scare at our house last Wed.(2oth). Logan was sick, he puked the night before and apparently preferred the bathroom floor to his bed. We all woke up the next morning and realized Logan had locked himself into the bathroom, Ryan called to Logan to wake him...no response. We tried to open the locked door, but it wouldn't open. Ryan kept calling out his name, but still no response, we were starting to worry and nothing would open the stupid door. Ryan yelled at the top of his lungs and still we heard no peeps. I was starting to panic and Ryan had never looked so scared in his life. He said to me "I'm breaking in the door" and sure enough one swift kick and we were in. Ryan hurried over to Logan who is asleep by the toilet and then Logan casually wakes up and stares at a panicked mother and father who just saw their childs life pass before their eyes. He claims he didn't hear a thing. There you go, a busted door frame, a little strep and a huge story we will never forget.

Wow. There is nothing worse than having something bad happen to one of your children. I'm glad he is OK. Hope your family gets better and the sun keeps shinning so we can all get outside again.
Oh my goodness Melannie! I can't believe that story. I am glad it had a good ending. The whole busting the door down to get to your child sounds all too familiar, except my horror story was my fault. Anyway, hope your family is well and good luck fixing the door, that is not fun.

It is a good thing that you have pictures to document it all, because that is a story that you will never want to forget :)
It was scary, but we are fortunate nothing was really wrong....We now know Ryan can kick in doors, if anyone needs assistance with that ;)

Here's hoping Ryan never gets mad at me. He did a number on that door frame. What a scare! We went through all the emotions, the fast heart beat, the tension, the panic, and the relief just by reading about it. Can't imagine how you must have felt guys.
